St. Catherine Rib Fest

Okay, okay… so this could have been this passed summer, but I still thought that it was super important to share just how awesome one of my fist weekends back from Australia was with my lovely sister Shannon.

A festival such as Rib Fest happens once annually, but usually runs in many different places around the GTA, Niargara, and I’m sure many other regions.  I would recommend googling a Rib Fest near you next summer, or even making a weekend out of it, because the food there is seriously get down good.

These travelling Rib Technicians have their craft down to an art with everything from locally sourced meat to home brewed barbeque sauce and even a variety of different grilling and smoking techniques. 

Pork and beef Ribs are what most people go for, but the pulled Pork sandwiches are not to be overlooked either.  Top everything off with a nice cold beer and you have got yourself one wicked weekend of smokey flavours and succulent meat!

Savour your Experience… and this time… it’s okay to lick your fingers!
