A chance to share my passion with some new, old and favorite recipes.

Savour your Experience!

Today we went to Daintree National Park (which is in Tropical North Queensland, Where Cape Tribulation is)

On the way out of Cape Tribulation we had a chance to stop at this amazing ice cream place where they make four fresh types of ice cream daily and serve them all together in these little cups for $5.00 (and well worth every penny).  The make sure to use seasonal and local fruits and have been operating for just a few years.

Check out my comments about each flavour below.

1. Blueberry - amazing!  My Favorite one of the day.  Nice acidity, a big burst of flavour and some interesting icy bites that maybe shouldn’t have been there, but seemed to give me the crunch I was looking for.

2. Macadamia Nut - also very nice.  This was Rich and Velvety and seemed to have pieces of the soft nut in every bite!

3. Yellow Sapote - A Sapote is the yellow papaya looking thing in the first picture.  It was interesting, somewhat like a mango flavour, with a nice rich creaminess to the ice cream itself.

4.Wattle Seed - The curly brown bites in the first picture, make this cookie and cream looking ice cream taste like and earthy cappuccino.  This was a really interesting creation to try!

YUM!

This was a great reminder to Savour Your Experience and always try something new!
